Sea Ranch House

With a 16ft height limit, the possiblities for a 4 bedroom house were limited. i split all the functions into small modules under 16ft and make ‘glassy’ links between them to follow the flow of a normal house. It can get very windy there so there is a sheltered courtyard inside with view thru the ‘glassy’ links to the meadow and sea. Its taken a while to get this unorthodox concept thru the Design Review process, but we are almost there, then building permit and construction!
