This House on Adobe Canyon Road burned down in the 2019 Fires. my Client was intrigued by a picture she has seen of a Swedish Barn, and this became the inspiration for our rebuild.
It was a lot of fun to work together on this unusual building.
Deep in a redwood ravine on the way to Calistoga is Humbug Creek. Finally after 3 years of hard work this Hunting Lodge inspired house is completed. The Owner wanted to achieve a really rustic home, no sheetrock, just wood, everywhere…. and filled with antiques and curios. We managed to go back in time, all the details are period right down to the knob light switches. It was a lot of fun to work with the Owner, and she is delighted with the outcome, judge for yourselves!
Plans progressing for the rebuilding, sites have been cleared, and tested and the green erosion control added.
